We are happy for your little ones to be in the adult service (even when they are a little bit noisy!)

We encourage parents & carers to bring a blanket for their little ones to sit on and some quiet toys (singing ones can be distracting!)

At the back of the hall there is a little more space if you need it, but you are welcome to sit wherever works best for you.

If anyone turns around when your little one is crying, singing or shouting, don’t worry, they are not being critical, they are probably interested to see who is a budding preacher warming up their voice!

If you do happen to need a private or quiet space, please see our ‘Welcome Team’ and they will be able to help you.

We realise that for many in this age group the pandemic has meant they are not used to being left at groups (and parents & carers are also not used to leaving them).

Please bring a drink in a named cup or bottle. We do not change dirty nappies, but if your child needs a change we will contact you. To help the little ones settle in and keep inline with safeguarding we have a different style of drop off. The group opens at about 10:55am (there will be an announcement in the service!)

A parent/carer brings their child/ children to the group and can either drop them straight off and return to the adults session or a parent/carer can bring their child/children to the group and stay for up to 15 mins. At this point there will be a music time and any parents/carers will need to leave. If you are happy to leave your child that’s fine.

If you feel your child is not settled and you would rather not leave them for the rest of the session, this is also okay and you have two other options for you and your child, either return to the adults in the hall or go to the live stream of the service (the Welcome Team can tell you the location of this). At both venues we hope you can engage with the rest of the adult service.

Our team try to create exciting and interesting ways to inspire the children to discover God and get to know Him for themselves.

On the 3rd Sunday of each month we have a Point Kids special. Sometimes it’s a ‘Bring Your Grown Up’ where parents/carers come to kids with their child/children.

On other months it’s a ‘Bring a Friend’ Sunday where we open Point Kids at 10:30am-12noon with extra fun and games and encourage the children to bring a friend to church for the morning.

Check out the ‘What’s On’ page on our website to see what is coming up! We encourage the children to bring a Bible to the session. We use the NIV at kids. If you don’t have one and would like one either speak to or email Liz and she will get one for you!
